Line
The line is the threshold the bookmaker sets in totals or handicap markets (e.g. 2.5 goals, 210.5 points). Your bet wins or loses depending on whether the result lands above or below it.
Example
If the goals line is 2.5 and the match ends 2-1 (3 goals), «Over 2.5» wins.
