Data we process

Depending on how you use the service, we process:

• User registration: email address and password (always stored encrypted, never in plain text).
• Preferences: your account settings (language, favourites, bets saved in your personal tracker) and, if you link Telegram, your chat identifier and alert preferences (sports, markets and leagues you want to receive).
• Subscription payments: if you subscribe to Premium, payment is processed through PayPal. We do not store your card or bank account details; we only keep the subscription reference and its status (active/cancelled) to manage your access.
• Browsing data: if you accept analytics cookies, aggregated usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, approximate device). They are off by default.
• Technical data: IP address and server log data, necessary for site security and operation.

We do not collect specially protected data and the service is not directed at persons under 18.

What we use your data for

• Create and manage your account and provide the statistics and predictions service — legal basis: performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Manage your Premium subscription and its charging through PayPal — legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Send you the Telegram alerts you have configured — legal basis: your consent, revocable at any time from your account.
• Measure site usage with Google Analytics to improve it — legal basis: your consent (cookie acceptance).
• Ensure the security of the service and comply with legal obligations — legal basis: legitimate interest and legal obligation.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. It is only processed, on our behalf and as data processors, by the providers strictly necessary to deliver the service:

• Hetzner Online GmbH — server hosting (data centres in Germany, European Union).
• PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. — processing of subscription payments.
• Google Ireland Ltd. — web analytics (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Telegram — delivery of alerts, only if you link your Telegram account.

Some providers (for example, Google) may involve international data transfers, covered by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

How long we keep your data

We keep your account data while your account remains active. If you cancel it, we delete or anonymise it, except for data we must retain due to legal obligations (for example, subscription billing data for the applicable tax periods). Analytics data is kept in aggregated form according to the Google Analytics configuration.

How to exercise your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability of your data, as well as withdraw consent at any time. To do so, write to us at info@betstalent.com stating the right you wish to exercise. Many actions (changing your details, managing alerts or cancelling your subscription) can be done directly from your account.

If you believe we have not properly handled your request, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
