Responsible gambling
Betting should be a form of entertainment, never a way to make money. At BetsTalent we provide data and information; the decision, and its responsibility, is always yours.
For adults only
BetsTalent content is intended solely for those over 18. Real-money gambling can lead to addiction and to serious health, financial and personal problems. If you are under 18, you must not use this site or bet.
A data tool, not a gambling operator
BetsTalent is a sports statistics and information tool. It is not a bookmaker or a tipster: we do not accept bets, we do not manage funds and we do not encourage you to gamble. We publish data, probabilities calculated by our own statistical model and predictions so that you can cross-reference the information and decide with judgement. The decision to bet, the amount and all its consequences are the sole responsibility of the user.
Gambling is not a source of income or a way to solve financial problems. Never bet money you cannot afford to lose, and never borrow to gamble.
Tips for gambling responsibly
- Set a time and money limit before you start, and stick to it.
- Do not chase your losses: trying to win back what you lost by betting more is the fastest route to a problem.
- Do not gamble when stressed, tired, anxious or under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
- Only bet with money set aside for leisure, never money you need for essential expenses.
- Take frequent breaks and do not let gambling displace your social, family or working life.
- Use the self-limit and self-exclusion tools offered by regulated operators.
When does gambling stop being a game?
Watch out if: you spend more time or money on gambling than you intended; you bet to recover losses; you lie about how much you gamble; you feel restless or irritable when you cannot play; or you neglect obligations, relationships or your finances because of gambling. If you recognise yourself in any of these situations, seek help: doing so in time changes everything.
Help resources in Spain
If you think you or someone close to you may have a gambling problem, there are official and free resources:
- Jugar Bien (DGOJ) — portal of the Spanish Gambling Regulator (DGOJ) with responsible-gambling information: jugarbien.es
- RGIAJ — General Register of Gambling Access Bans. You can request self-exclusion so that regulated operators block your access to gambling: ordenaciondeljuego.es/es/rgiaj
- FEJAR — Spanish Federation of Rehabilitated Gamblers; associations for help and treatment of gambling addiction across Spain: fejar.org
- Teléfono de la Esperanza — emotional support and guidance, 24 hours (Spain): 717 003 717 — telefonodelaesperanza.org
Asking for help is not a failure. The sooner a gambling problem is addressed, the easier it is to regain control.
