CLV and odds movement

CLV (closing line value) compares the odds you bet at with the market's closing odds. Consistently beating the closing line is one of the best signs that your bets are good.

Example

You bet at 2.10 and the odds close at 1.85: you gained closing-line value (the market moved your way).
