Asian handicap
Gives a goal head start or deficit to a team before kick-off. It removes the draw and balances uneven matches; quarter lines (−0.25, −0.75) split the stake into two halves.
Example
With «home −1», the home side must win by 2+ to win the bet; a win by exactly 1 is refunded (push).
